Looking westward, from the corner of Moot Lane. The mill-like building in the distance was apparently a tannery until not so many years ago: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/324794. On the right, beyond the thatched buildings, is the 'Wooden Spoon'. This is the older part of the village. The 'newer' part - the Borough - lies further west on the far side of the Avon, and dates from the 13th century.
