The orange high rise building in the middle of the building is the council's Finance building. It is now only about two storeys high though as they figured it was cheaper to chop the top off rather than move the computers somewhere else. The Angel Inn - a spit and sawdust pub (but very good) was demolished several years later. I can't figure out the exact location from the map, but the area (Conway Park) now has a fully-featured leisure/ swimming pool, a multiplex cinema, a new train station, a college and various businesses. The Crown pub (behind photographer) is still there.
