The 'model village' workers accommodation is varied between three storey and two storey homes. It also includes a small church and a pub. They were even far-sighted enough to leave enough space for the advent of widespread car ownership. Amazing. Unlike many housing developments of the 20th century there are no blind alleys and rat runs, you can get an ambulance in easily to all front doors, there are no unnecessary, useless patches of grass and the ground is level minimsing falls, trips and drainage issues.
