St Augustine's Parish Church is an Anglican church dating from the 14th century. There has been a church on this site for more than 800 years. The first written record of a church was in 1217. Of that Norman church, only the font survives. The oldest external part of the church is the tower, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3131811 built in 1380.
