At the corner of Park Lane and the High Street. The awning over the pavement, supported on pillars, seems to be a traditional feature of butchers' shops in this area, with examples surviving at Godstone http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3127303 and at Bletchingley http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2859856. Old photographs of town centres show that carcases were often hung up outside a butcher's shop, in this instance no doubt from hooks beneath the canopy.
