A few metres behind the camera, the 30mph speed limit through the residential part of the village increased http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3129029 to the National Speed Limit ahead. This means that cars can travel at up to 60mph along this narrow road lined with vertical hedges and with no provision for walkers.
