Porteous' Pend

Buildings which look as if they were formerly of some industrial use, now renovated as modern dwellings. It's a pity we don't have a standard municipal plaque to put on old buildings like these, stating their original use. I'm sure each one here has an interesting tale to tell, but, as the listing information on them is scant, they remain a closed book.
