Unusual old corner house

Specially designed as a corner house, on the corner of Church Street and Eastgate, this unusual house goes unnoticed nowadays, probably because of all the traffic. Apart from the elegant balcony, note the rounded bay window: even the glass is curved. Next to the front door is an old "speaking tube" for visitors to introduce themselves. See: Image
