Start of the Olympic Lane

The outside lane of the A102 from Sun-in-the-Sands (A2) junction to the North Greenwich Peninsula (exit for the O2 / North Greenwich Arena) was used as a priority lane for Olympic / Paralympic traffic. There were warnings of large fines for abuse of these lanes, which seemed to work - I only once saw an unauthorised vehicle using this one. See also Image
