This is a housing estate road in the block of land between Fixby Road, Broomfield Road and Lightridge Road. This bend in the road is one of those places where grid lines intersect. The houses were built as standard three-bedroom semis, but many have been extended at the side to provide extra bedrooms over a garage or car port.
