The Jacobite steam trains are extremely popular, both for passengers and observers. The train was packed with travellers, enjoying the spectacular journey through some of Scotland's most attractive scenery. There were many photographers hoping to capture the spirit of steam in their pictures, including a bus-load of Dutch tourists who had stopped at a convenient lay-by to view the passing train.
