Osberton Hall on the Chesterfield Canal

The tow path changes sides at a bridge to the south west and a lock to the north east of the Hall, presumably to ensure the canal boatmen were kept away from the Hall. See Image and Image The wooden sided bridge here (no. 48) is a gated private road to the Hall.
