This photograph is taken from a viewpoint overlooking the car park belonging to, and at the rear of, the Image The viewpoint is very close to Image Both the cottages on the right and the building on the left are on the site of an earlier public house that existed in the nineteenth century before the Commercial Inn was built. It is possible that these cottages are what nineteenth century census records refer to as "Brocksop's Houses."
