Northbay's postbox is on the corner of a small cul-de-sac of bungalows a little to the east of the village. It was probably moved here on the closure of the post office, which existed from 1 April 1921 until the resignation of the postmaster/mistress on 24 August 2009. The phone box is alongside the A888 but a few yards further along.
