Located on the west side of Slip Hill, near the Hamilton Terrace junction. The building is set below road level. This branch of the Royal British Legion was established in 1921 and currently has around 800 members. It is a non-profitmaking organisation and also the community face of the Royal British Legion charity which provides financial, social and emotional support to those who have served or are serving in the Armed Services, and their dependants.
