The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

A grassy area behind the platform of Heywood station on the East Lancashire Railway. The building to the left is a distribution centre of Norbain http://www.norbain.co.uk who offer "CCTV, IP Video, Access Control and Intruder Detection equipment" according to their website.
