The pub modestly describes its exterior as "grey and unremarkable", but as this evening shot shows, it has retained its traditional appearance, unlike the gaudy shop front of the Chinese take-away shop next door, which contrasts with the rest of this historic (dutch style?) building. The Louth New Orleans (jazz) Club met for many years in the upstairs room of the Greyhound Inn
