Bombed by the IRA on no less than 11 separate occasions, the Europa has survived as one of Europe's great hotels. President Clinton, himself a no mean survivor, chose this hotel as his base on two of his many his visits to Northern Ireland. Located in Great Victoria Street, the Europa stands next door to the Grand Opera House. Image
