One of many small greenhouses that are now derelict, disused or used non-commercially. The area around Fen Drayton was one of 21 areas where the Land Settlement Association resettled unemployed men onto smallholdings, including greenhouses, to give them the opportunity to work in agriculture. The scheme ran from 1934 and 1982.
