Located at the western entrance to the churchyard of the grade II* listed Church of England parish church of St. Mary the Virgin. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3094771 The lych gate was formerly used to shelter a coffin until the clergyman's arrival for the burial, or pre-burial service.
