This engraved stone is set into the wall of the barn opposite the official memorial, and commemorates the 30 or so men of Longford and Church Aston who didn't make it to the end of WWI. The list of battalions and regiments also records a number that have since been disbanded - with the King's Shropshire Light Infantry (KSLI) perhaps unsurprisingly being most prominent amongst them.
