The origin of the unusual name Harp Terrace is unknown to this contributor. A possibility is that there may once have been a Harp Inn or similar here, but I can find no evidence of this. There is a representation of a harp between the two upstairs windows of the house in the middle of the view, but that on its own is not evidence of any former use of the building.
