St Augustine's Abbey - The Great Gate

This was the main gateway to St Augustine's Abbey in the Middle Ages. It is sometimes known as "Fyndon's Gate" because it was rebuilt in the early C14th by Abbot Fyndon. This gateway is in Monastery Street opposite Lady Wootton's Green.
