A view of the pumping station with the steam house in front. Built in 1894 it burned city waste to feed the boilers. The museum's main attractions are two Hathorn Davey steam engines, one of which is fully operational and often runs on steam weekends. 1904 saw the installation of two gas engines and later an electric pump.
