Sculpted wolf, Cardiff Castle

This sculpted wolf is one of a number of figures sculptured by Thomas Nicholls in 1890 on the Animal Wall adjacent to Cardiff Castle. The wall was originally designed by William Burgess but was not completed until after his death. The sculpted creatues have recently been restored.
