A non-slip road surface is being applied at High Buckholmside on the approach to a new mini roundabout at the junction of Ladhope Vale, Bridge Place and High Buckholmside. The roads were closed for 24 hours to allow for resurfacing work and line painting to be carried out and the final phase of the relief road was opened on the 17th July 2012. This was viewed from the High Road. For a view of the finished roundabout, see Image
