This photo was taken in 2001 but the same view has been available for 400 odd years without much change. The 16th century manor house is one of the UK's most haunted houses, with the ghost of William Batt sending cold shivers down your spine. Also the house featured in Brontes "Shirley". It's well worth a visit.
