Barrier on the riverside cycle route

A barrier, erected in 2012, on National Cycle Route 4 where it leaves Borthwick Street. It is intended to stop motorcyclists accessing the riverside path while allowing ordinary bicycles; but some local cyclists opposed it as such barriers are too tight for tandems and trailers.
