The two leading riders, Alexandr Vinokourov of Kazakhstan (in blue) and Rigoberto Uran Uran (Colombia) come into view. Vinokourov went on to outsprint Uran to the finish. photo taken from just outside Brompton Oratory. The large crowd was hoping for a British victory, but it was not to be.
