Behind that tree is where No 16 once stood. It was once home to Moors murderers Myra Hindley and Ian Brady. The house was demolished in 1987 as Manchester City Council (who built this overspill) were unable to find any tenants willing to live in it, thus in order to stop it becoming a "tourist" spot although people still often come here just to "gawp" at the empty plot!
