There have been several events this year that could have prompted the possessors of this fine Georgian villa to fly the British flag. The likeliest one is the occasion of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The villa, together with its railings, is listed Grade II http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=475771 The flag is being flown the right way up.
