The farm's name is spelled out on old churns, redundant now that milk is no longer collected at the gate by a nationalized dairy industry. Dairy cows are still kept however, along with a variety of other animals. The farm yard and buildings are across the road from the house; its sheltered position, on a quiet lane less than a mile from the sea, is demonstrated by the plants that flourish around the front door.
