Part of the Syonfin Hill climb that used to take place here. Hundreds of people would have attended this annual event held up until the mid 70's by Omagh Motor Club. It was sponsored by a leading cigarette company and I can remember good looking girls mingling amongst the crowds handing out free fags, possibly Players' No 6. All sorts of cars would have taken part including rally cars and racers and the course record was held by Tommy Reid driving a Brabham BT30 in a time of 46.10 sec.
