The CIE weed-spraying train, hauled by 169S, stopped at the closed gates at Kingsbog level crossing on the Glengormley – Ballyclare road. At the time of the photograph the line was closed to all services and being worked as one section between Antrim and Bleach Green. The five level crossing gates were opened by the train’s guard. The line has since been re-opened and singled. The gates were replaced by automatic half-barriers Image
