The following text is included in the inscription, "1690-1990 Tercentenary. This plaque is to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of the Encampment of Prince William of Orange and his armies on their way to victory at the Battle of the Boyne. Erected June, 1990 by Banbridge District Council".
