At the end of Waverley Road there is a Give Way sign. Dowson Road is marked with the word "Slow" just before the "Double Bend" sign. A notice on the Give Way sign warns dog owners that fouling carries a fine of up to £1000. The signs are manufactured by the Altrincham firm "Forest City".
