Another view of Image, a church that received brief internet notoriety in March 2012 when local composer David Haines posted a video of the priest attempting to read out a letter criticising the government's plans to legalise same sex marriages http://www.teignmouth-today.co.uk/news.cfm?id=9990&headline=Church%20protest%20film%20is%20internet%20sensation . The church was built by Charles Hansom in 1854 of "squared rock-faced grey Plymouth stone with cream freestone dressings and belfry" http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1365786&searchtype=mapsearch in "Hansom's characteristically jerky and earnest Gothic" (Cherry & Pevsner). On the right is the A379 Dawlish Road. In the foreground it crosses the railway line.
