St Peter's Church is on a slight hill, just to the north of the village centre. The church is mainly memorable for the monuments inside, including a life size figure of a knight in plate armour and mail. This was Sir Thomas Cawne who first built Ightham Mote. This view is of the approach from the lychgate in Fen Pond Road.
