The River Brit in flood after exceptional torrential rain. It is almost level with the bank on this side of the river and the flood defence banking and wall on this side give further protection, although the storm drains were starting to backfill. The other side of the river has no flood protection and has been breached leading to flooding of St Mary's playing fields.
