In the days before the building of the cross-harbour line Image from Central to Yorkgate, all transfers of rolling stock, based at Central Service Depot, Belfast Image, going to York Road workshops had to make the long journey via Lisburn, Antrim and Bleach Green (some 45 miles instead of the two by the cross-harbour line). In this cast DH locomotive no 3 is transferring MPD power cars nos 64 and 65, DE motor coach 77 and intermediate no 727.
