Fisher Row - Crombies's Land

The two storey building at the end of the row was the birthplace in 1863 of Neil Munro the poet and novelist. As a child and young man he would have been familiar with the puffers and steamers plying their trade in the Clyde. The town saw prosperity from the herring fishing.
