This is quite an interesting image as it shows, due to flooding, what this area may look like if the Chesterfield Canal, which is carried by the Norwood Tunnel under Kiveton Community Woodlands, is opened up. The area that is flooded is a cutting that was specifically created to carry the course of the newly opened canal should the project ever make it from the drawing board.
