Looking SE towards the footbridge between Park Place and Senghennydd Road. The larger Cathays name sign on the left shows Cardiff University and Civic Centre. The station opened in 1983. The next stations in this direction are Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Central. Behind the camera, the next station is Llandaf. Cathays is pronounced k'tayz.
