This pub. used to be the 'Bull Inn' and the renaming of it is deplorable on several counts: Firstly, the 'Bull Inn' is a fine name for an English village pub; Secondly, the name 'Coach House' suggests that it has a history as a coaching inn, which I very much doubt since it is not on any current or former main road; and thirdly, there has been a 'Bull Inn' in Chelsham for at least five hundred years, although not on this site. The former cricket pitch in front of the pub. is unplayable and will require real money spent on it before it even becomes fit for village cricket.
