This Mile Post is located at the western end of Lowick Main Street, underneath a street name sign. Ford refers to Ford village which is 4 miles to the west. BEL refers to Belford which is (according to the post) 8 miles away and is in a south easterly direction. COR refers to Cornhill, which is a village, apparently 11 miles away to the north west.
