Farmland near Gateside in Fife, viewed in the month of June as the weather deteriorates, limiting visibility. The low, rolling hills are characteristic of much of rural Fife, with land use being predominantly agricultural. Cadgeracre wood can be seen on the skyline - according to some sources, this may have been the site of a fortification, possibly Roman, see: http://canmore.rcahms.gov.uk/en/site/28064/details/cadgeracre+wood/
