The Harbour Road was a public road running from the Coastguard Road (behind me) to the harbour. It can be seen when open in July 1976 Image but had closed by February 1980 Image Much of it was redeveloped as a parking area for lorry trailers. More than 30 years after closure the yellow lines and a “slow” road marking (middle) have survived.
