This is Greyfriars Street at its busiest, in between Christmas and New Year. It's a pedestrianised street at the heart of the town's burgeoning shopping area. Carmarthen has long been an important commercial centre for West Wales and recent years have seen the arrival, or expansion, of many of the most popular high street stores.
