One of a few shots of this pleasant new housing development. Unusual features to note in this image are the galvanised metal walls to the porches and the gabion walls marking the boundaries of the front courtyards. These are more often seen in an industrial setting but their use here is quite imaginative. They have the advantage over more traditional garden walls of both being more sturdy and more flexible. They probably provide habitats for all sorts of creatures. The process of individualising properties has already begun. NOTE.
