The Blondinis were a circus act working in the 1920s in the Swindon area. This statue of them was cast in 1986 in the old railway works shortly before they closed that year. The work is in aluminium and was designed by John Clinch. Originally it was situated in the Brunel Centre but was moved to its present location some years later. The houses in the background are in Beatrice Street. A closer view can be seen here Image
